Cyclonic dryer 1/2″

Patented system pilot modular lamination dryer for compressed air with automatic drain.

Technical features: this patented system was invented to preserve air quality directly on the machine or on short distribution lines (maximum 8 meters guaranteed). It is recommended not to install it close to the compressor or anyway make sure that the inlet air temperature does not exceed 50° C; if installed before the air treatment unit, it blocks water condensation almost completely, and expels also oil and solid particles; this extremely simple product does not require maintenance, it does not cause energy consumption, and brings about no pressure and flow losses. Working fields: in workshops, bodyshops, tyre repairers, in order to protect the delicate pneumatic tubes; useful also on vehicles (trucks, buses, operating machines) and in all those working places where the teperature variation causes big amounts of condensation; its working is based on simple principles of thermodynamics of fluids; the dew point detected at 1 bar is -15° C / ISO 8573-1 (class 3-4) than the temperature of the incoming air.

The process of condensation’s separation and air drying is made up of a few steps:

1) increase of the air speed, which generates a vacuum and a decrease in the temperature of the compressed air

2) air expansion and lamination, which carry out a further removal of condensation

3) cyclonic effect, which separates oil, solid particles and the condensation that may have newly formed

4) draining of these contaminants through the automatic drain, which is located in the bowl
